Honda denounced the 2013 Honda Fit EV at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show and announced skeleton to begin leasing the 123 city-mile per assign (76 mile operation total practiced city/highway)(1) battery-electric commuter car to its U.S. business in the summer of 2012. Equipped with a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery and 92 kW coaxial electric motor, the Fit EV battery can be entirely recharged in as little as 3 hours when connected to a 240-volt circuit.
American Honda will begin leasing the Fit EV to business in name California and Oregon markets subsequent summer, and will enhance to 6 East Coast markets in early 2013. The Fit EV’s Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $36,625 with an estimated franchise labelled at $399 a month.
